The event started with the motivational address by Principal Prof (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, wherein he addressed the audience, by emphasizing the importance of Gandhian values and the need for a cleaner and sustainable future.
Thereafter a campus clean-up drive was initiated. They used brooms, dustbins, and garbage bags to collect and dispose of litter properly.
As a symbolic gesture of commitment to the cause, all participants were invited to take a cleanliness pledge. They vowed to maintain cleanliness not only within the college premises but also in their homes and surrounding areas.
NSS Coordinator Prof Kanwaljeet Singh stated that the college community will continue to work towards a cleaner and more eco-friendly campus and surrounding areas throughout the year, thus contributing to the vision of a cleaner and healthier India.
