The Young Entrepreneurship Network of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organized an enlightening and empowering interactive session titled ‘Crafting a Compelling Startup Pitch Deck’ on 18 February 2025 for aspiring entrepreneurs. The session began with a warm welcome by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar. Mr. Arjun Sethi, Founder and Owner of SCASA Group of Industries, led the event as the resource person, offering valuable insights into crafting an effective investor pitch. He highlighted the power of storytelling in effectively presenting the core problem and its solution, referencing Steve Jobs’ iconic iPod pitch.
He emphasized the importance of clearly communicating a venture’s uniqueness and creating a sense of urgency in investors’ minds. He also highlighted the necessity of supporting innovative ideas with strong data analysis to enhance credibility. To reinforce his points, he referenced quotes from world leaders, further strengthening his argument. Further, he appreciated such initiatives of colleges that intend to cultivate students’ entrepreneurial consciousness, innovative spirit, and entrepreneurial ability, which meet the requirements of society.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Leenu Anand. Ms. Esha Jain, Ms. Mehak Arora, and Ms. Ashita Arora assisted her in organizing and managing the event.
