Kunal Verma, a BBA student of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management , participated in an online Inter College Debate Competition organised by ‘Bibliophile’, a literary society of KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education, Greater Noida. He was fortunate enough to grab the 2nd position and was awarded a cash prize of ₹2000 and an E-Certificate. The topic was “Is the deployment of Surveillance Technology in public spaces to be regarded as an essential Security measure or as an infringement upon Individuals’ Privacy?” More than 60 participants participated from different parts of the country, most of them were Law students.
There were 2 rounds:
In round 1, maximum of 3 minutes were given to speak and the adjudicators asked one question at the end from each participant. In the round 2, top 10 debaters were selected from the first round and, again 3 minutes were given and now the adjudicators asked 2 questions from each participant. Principal, Prof. Dr. Vishal Kumar appreciated the efforts put in by Kunal. He motivated the brainiac to bring more laurels to college in the field of Public Speaking.
