Young Entrepreneurship Network (YEN) of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organized a session on the topic “The Startup Ecosystem: Navigating Challenges & Opportunities” on 07-08-2024. Mr. Lokesh Jain (Chairman CII- Ludhiana Chapter) was the resource person. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, principal of the college, formally welcomed the speaker and motivated students to gain valuable insights from the discourse. The session provided a comprehensive and insightful roadmap for budding entrepreneurs looking to establish and elevate themselves as future entrepreneurs in the competitive business landscape. He emphasized the significance of the three letters: W, H, and Y—representing “What,” “How,” and “Why”—in identifying market gaps and opportunities for innovation and redesigning products or services. He encouraged the students to create vision and mission statements, even for family businesses, as they help in defining goals and setting a clear path for achieving them. He also highlighted that “network is net worth” as an essential principle when embarking on an entrepreneurial journey. His words served as an inspiration for the aspiring entrepreneurs in the room, encouraging them to conquer their apprehensions and embrace opportunities with confidence. The event was coordinated by Dr. Leenu Anand. Ms. Esha Jain, Ms. Mehak Arora and Ms. Ashita Arora assisted her in organizing and managing the event.
