Career Guidance and Placement Cell (CGPC) of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana, in association with Hitbullseye, organized an expert talk on the topic- Beyond the Classroom- Paving your Way to Professional Success on January 31, 2025. The resource person of the day was Group Captain Sandeep Mohan, a seasoned Indian Air Force veteran known for his exceptional leadership, discipline, and mentorship. At the very outset, he focused on gaining diverse and interdisciplinary knowledge for understanding links between multiple subjects to enhance perspectives of cognitive growth and success. Mr. Mohan emphasized on the importance of being mindful, curious, and aware in all professional interactions. The session highlighted the various pillars of professionalism like self-awareness, active listening, networking and personal branding. Mr. Mohan also embraced the pertinence of constructive criticism for continuous self-improvement. The event concluded on an important note of ethical integrity stressing upon amalgamation of honesty and professionalism in all the endeavors. Participants gained valuable insights into how networking complement technical abilities in achieving professional success. The session proved highly beneficial in preparing students for future careers and fostering their development into confident, competent professionals.
