Women Development Cell of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organized “Be Your Own Boss: A Personal Effectiveness and Grooming Workshop” for the female students of BCOM 1st and 2nd year on 08-10-24. The session began with a warm welcome from the Worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, thereafter Dr. Robin Kaushal, Convenor WDC introduced Ms. Amardeep Kaur who is a youth and well-being expert and has a rich experience of training students on personality development and grooming. The workshop focused on building confidence, enhancing personal effectiveness, and teaching the importance of professional grooming to prepare the participants for leadership roles and entrepreneurial opportunities. Through interactive discussions, including grooming demonstrations, time management techniques, and communication skill-building activities, the students gained valuable insights on how to present themselves effectively and develop leadership qualities. The initiative was met with enthusiastic participation and positive feedback, reinforcing the importance of such programs in shaping confident, capable future leaders. Principal Prof (Dr.) Vishal Kumar appreciated the session by emphasizing the importance of such sessions and making the most of the opportunities provided by the institution. The session concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Jaspreet Kaur expressing gratitude to Ms. Amardeep Kaur for her valuable insights. The session was well co-ordinated by WDC team.
