On 2nd October 2024, a One Day NSS Camp themed “Swachhta hi Seva Hai” was organized to promote cleanliness and sustainability, aligning with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The event commenced with a pledge for cleanliness, followed by a rejuvenating meditation session led by Ms. Umang. volunteers visited the Jagannath Temple and Goshala, where they demonstrated compassion and kindness by feeding animals, further instilling a sense of responsibility towards all living beings. They participated in a large-scale cleanliness drive across the village of Jhande and the college campus. A rally was also held to raise awareness about hygiene, with participants encouraging the community to take responsibility for their surroundings. The event successfully instilled a sense of civic responsibility and environmental consciousness among participants, with the College Principal encouraging ongoing efforts for a cleaner future. The College Principal and Management expressed their appreciation for the volunteers’ enthusiasm and dedication. They emphasized that small, but consistent efforts could lead to lasting change and encouraged everyone to incorporate cleanliness into their daily lives, ensuring that the surroundings reflect the pride they take in their community. The camp successfully fostered a deeper sense of civic responsibility, environmental consciousness, and community pride among participants.
