The 7-Day NSS Camp, inaugurated on January 6, 2025, concluded successfully on January 12, 2025. Centered around the theme “Awakening Youth for My Bharat,” the camp aimed to sensitize volunteers about their responsibilities towards the community. A range of activities took place, including outreach programs in the adopted villages of Jhande. Awareness rallies addressing digital scams and environmental protection were organized in these villages.
Volunteers also visited “Guru Amardas Ashram,” fostering empathy and encouraging active participation in initiatives promoting inclusivity. With great enthusiasm, they distributed milk, tea, biscuits, and rusks to patients at Shri Krishna Charitable Hospital, ESI Hospital, and to the local community. Fitness drills and cycle rallies were held regularly to promote health and well-being among the volunteers. Furthermore, several sessions were conducted to awaken and educate the youth about their societal and national responsibilities.
The theme of the camp was effectively reflected through the various youth-focused activities. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar applauded the NSS team for the camp’s successful execution and remarked that the event exemplified the NSS motto, “Not Me, But You.”
